Trade West Africa is an independent market intelligence company focused on African trade. We grew out of years of reporting on how goods, money and policy really move across West Africa, from the port of Lagos to the markets of Kano, Kumasi and Dakar. Today we turn that knowledge into research, data and advisory services for companies that buy, sell and invest across the continent.
We are not a government agency or a bank. That independence lets us tell members what is actually happening in a market, not what anyone would prefer them to hear. Our work covers the 15 ECOWAS member states and Mauritania, with growing coverage of key partner markets across Central, East, North and Southern Africa.
Our members range from small exporters taking their first step into a neighbouring country to multinationals managing supply chains across a dozen markets. What they share is a need for reliable information before they commit money, people or reputation.
